I borrowed my little niece for this activity, as I have 3 boys and none were interested in this craft project! I have a love for all things fairy, princess, sparkly and pink….so these tick all the boxes!

You will need:
- Glitter fabric (ebay)
- Wooden dowel (B&Q) or a stick found in the garden or on a woodland walk
- Ribbons
- Embellishment – Paper flowers, buttons etc
- Low melt glue gun

First, cut 2 stars of the exact same size from the sparkly glitter fabric. You could use a Star template from the internet for this but we hand drew ours. Or, if you don’t have glitter fabric, you could paint two cardboard stars.

Glue several equal lengths of ribbon to the reverse side of one of the stars. Then, glue one star to each side of the top of the dowel – ensuring that the stars stick together exactly and that the ribbon hang down.
Next, add your embellishments and let it dry!
