Today saw the launch of my first ever product launch – in my own own little shop.
The Woodland Animals Puzzle is a simple 6 piece puzzle, perfect for little hands.
I designed it without the typical plastic pegs in the pieces because I felt that these spoilt the pieces and I wanted users to be able to use the pieces on nature tables, in play based learning and in small world play, as well as the ability to match them to the correct space on the board. Truly versatile.
Designed by me to depict popular forest animals:
- Fox
- Badger
- Hedgehog
- Rabbit
- Squirrel
- Deer family
The puzzle pieces and board are cut by a local company in Alfreton Derbyshire using eco-friendly wood. They are made to last through years of imaginative storytelling and play based learning.
The wooden pieces help to develop fine motor skills.
