A lovely simple craft for Chinese New Year. Create this lovely Dragon to display in your setting year after year.
You will need:
- Egg Box
- Ready Mix Paint and Brushes
- Low melt Glue Gun
- Wiggly eyes
- Tissue Paper
- Pipe Cleaners
- Foam Sheets
- Glitter
Cut 6 egg cups from your egg box, paint them and then glue them together with plenty of low melt glue (adult required for glue gun). We added glitter at this point, whilst the paint was still wet.
Next, add the wiggly eyes and whiskers and tail.
Lastly, we added foam wings and foam spikes to each egg cup along the dragon’s back. And, some tiny white triangle teeth!
We also added some scale-like patterns along each egg cup and some tissue paper fire coming from the mouth.
